Silent Auction
A highlight of spring activities at Larson is the Silent Auction. Through the generosity of sponsors, merchants, businesses, parents, administration, faculty, and staff numerous items go up for auction in a fun filled evening of bidding and rebidding. The Silent Auction begins with a dinner and quickly turns into a rush from table to table as students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff enter their bids. In past years, the bidding frenzy took place for such items as "Principal for a Day," two tickets to a Texas Rangers Game, a swimming membership at a local country club, an autographed photo of a Dallas Cowboys player, and the list goes on.
The Silent Auction occurs every other year with the next being in 2011. Check back in the Spring of 2011 to learn how the Silent Auction is shaping up.
